Community mapping is effective non-verbal way of finding out how people view their area. It understand differences in perception and stimulate debate as a basis for join planning. But theres more to that.
When I experienced the actual mapping in our assign area I find myself into trouble because of the tall buildings surrounding me. And it was a sunny afternoon when we went and do our assignment its so hot and very dusty. Even that it is dangerous because of the vehicle passing us we do have fun because we talked so much and bond together.
I realized that community mapping is not easy to do with, it takes patience to sketch a specific place, you should be careful on the labels and everything important so that you work will be understand.
I can invite my friends to do some extra work just like community mapping, I would like to encourage them that community mapping is very important to us now because of the benefits that can help us.

Photo exHibit
First of all I was there In the opening of the photo exhibit "Lansad". When I heard the name of Lansad the first thing that comes in my mind is that what is all about and whats the meaning of it. During the time when I and my friends took a look for the exhibit I was fascinated by the pictures and impress because I did not expect that those pictures was taken by the 3rd year people in DevCom, and their pictures was not easy to capture out.
After a while of looking all those pictures, one thing that comes in my mind is the "Lansad is all about collection of photographs. And when i researched it, it is the picturesque displays ranged from festive to somber showing both the upside and downside of life. The students went around the city, rediscovered the Chocolate Hills, danced under the scorching heat of the Kagay-an Festival, braved the rain, trooped to Cogon [market] and floated with the Badjaos.

Well, everything starts in the mind, most often than not we come up with an idea. And that idea becomes an answer to solve our problems in life. In the society that we are living people shares the same problems and also we share ideas and by sharing ideas we communicate. We change.
